hi

A-yo!

If you’re creepin’ on my site, welcome! You can call me Tina. I am a New York City-based User Experience Designer crafting meaningful experiences through playful imagination and creative problem solving.

I hunt for cute & thoughtful cafe restrooms, like this one. (They’re patterns of dogs!)

A bit about me

I'm a recent grad from Pratt Institute, where I studied UX/UI Design and Visual Design. When I'm not working or learning something new, I like to cosplay as my favorite literary characters (particularly from the Harry Potter fandom)

Why I love Design

There are a lot of nuances and misunderstandings with humans and machines. My job is to understand the perspectives of both sides and guide the way for more harmonious ways of co-existing. I love connecting humans with digital technologies by building trust, engagement, and education for my audience through interaction and visual design.

When I’m not working

I love to scour through Medium, academic research papers, and TED Talks about Machine Learning. I started a project called 100 Days of Ai to explore the new and weird artificial intelligence tools. A lot of folks are getting a little antsy about AI taking over humans, but that anxiety stems from educating themselves.
